My Logo
Defining My Journey.
- TL;DR - I made this logo to use as a favicon for my portfolio. I used a road metaphor to represent my journey, so far, as a designer.
The Details
I discovered my love for UI/UX design, research, and development in the fall semester of 2018, in Eric Paulos's User Interface Design class (CS 160, UC Berkeley). On the first day of class, Professor Paulos mentioned that, after taking his class, many students decide "this is what I want to do with my life." I was one of them.
Since then, I have been trying to immerse myself in Design. I joined cohorts, attended seminars, signed up for clubs, interviewed for projects, and joined a start-up group project to try to learn more about UX.
As a last piece for putting together this portfolio, I designed this logo. I chose the concept of a road, to signify my roadmap, or my journey through design thus far. My logo shows that this is just the beginning, and it's all uphill from here.
